Let’s Play Food Security Jeopardy!
Food Security Jeopardy Rules There are four categories of food security topics and each category has four questions, with the value of each correct question going up by 1 point as you move down the list Each team will choose a representative who will select a category and a point value The Operator will click on the selected point value on the Board to reveal the clue. The Host will read the clue and, once read, each team has the opportunity to discuss and (collectively) respond One person on each team will be communicating or “buzzing” to indicate that her/his team has a response ready, and the Operator will pick the team that buzzes first Teams are allowed to discuss responses prior to buzzing in, but all conversation must stop when someone buzzes in (responses given without being called on will not count) Answers to clues must be phrased in the form of a question. If a response is correct, the team will be awarded the point value and will select the next category and clue If a response is not fully correct, the point value will be subtracted from that team’s score; the other teams, in order of their “buzz,” are given an opportunity to respond When all the clues have been responded to, or when there are 2 minutes left, the Host will reveal the Final Clue (worth 10 points); each team has 10 seconds to write a response on a piece of paper, and 10 points are given to each team with the correct answer At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins!
