Professional Organization An organization or club made of of people involved in the same career. Benefits –Opportunity to network with peers –Opportunity to learn and communicate together. –Often provide trade shows

Commodity Organizations Corn Growers Association NCGA is a federation of state organizations, corn boards, councils and commissions developing and implementing programs and policies on a state and national level to help protect and advance the corn producer’s interests

North Carolina Pork Producers Assoc. The North Carolina Pork Council (formerly the North Carolina Pork Producers Association) was organized as the North Carolina Swine Industry Association. It was chartered in 1962 as a North Carolina non-profit corporation. It is the oldest state pork producer organization in the nation that has operated under a mandatory checkoff funding system since its inception.
