Physical Fitness- the ability to carry out daily tasks easily and have enough reserve energy to respond to unexpected demands.

Strengthen your muscles and bones Boost your energy level Improve your posture

Cardiovascular system Strengthens the heart muscle Reduces blood pressure Lowers cholesterol

Respiratory System Lungs work more efficiently Larger amounts of air are delivered to your body Makes activities easier Running a greater distance w/o being out of breath

Musculoskeletal System Reduces risk of developing fragile bones Improves balance and coordination

Stress relief- body produces chemicals called endorphins which relaxes the body and relieves pain Mood enhancement- promotes the production of other brain chemicals that combat anxiety and depression
