YEAT MISSION STATEMENT TO ENGAGE STOCKTON YOUTH BY BUILDING ON AND FOSTERING THEIR ASSETS

YOUTH AND EDUCATION ACTION TEAM YEAT GOALS  Assist Youth in getting more involved in City activities  Encourage Youth to have a stake in their community  Identify existing activities that engage youth and build on current successes

YEAT ACTIVITIES  Asset Building training – will continue with three scheduled training opportunities for teachers, after-school aides, and any youth advocate.  Citywide Teen Conference – will be planned for April 2005 with job fair, career fair, and health fair as well as motivational speakers and opportunities for teen appreciation.
