Writing Curriculum Work As I reported in December, we are investigating a new writing curriculum. Recent data analysis revealed a relative weakness in the area of writing. We attribute this to a lack of consistent curriculum K-12. Also, no consistent programming or philosophy. Mr. Miller and I are continuing to work with the both of the HS writing teachers as well as a handful of the elementary teachers. In-service time has been set aside in May, after our external visitation, with ESU #1 staff developer Amy Hill to further explore new writing standards & possible curricular assistance.
