Dinosaur Dance 2-6-24

Thousands and thousands of years ago, Dinosaurs ruled the land. Verse 1 Thousands and thousands of years ago, Dinosaurs ruled the land. They plodded through their humdrum lives, And snow and mud and sand!

But every once in a while, Even dinosaurs need some fun. Verse 1 But every once in a while, Even dinosaurs need some fun. So they’d throw themselves a party Right out in the scorching sun! And to this day, We celebrate the dinosaur way:

Lift your dinosaur knee, Wiggle your dinosaur toes, Refrain: Lift your dinosaur knee, Wiggle your dinosaur toes, Raise you dinosaur hand, And touch your dinosaur nose.

Now hold your dinosaur stance. Whad-da-ya know? Wag your dinosaur tail, Now hold your dinosaur stance. Whad-da-ya know? You’re doin’ the dinosaur dance! Refrain:

You don’t need fancy dancing shoes Don’t strut your stylish stuff. Verse 2 You don’t need fancy dancing shoes Don’t strut your stylish stuff. Just do like a brontosaurus, That’s sure to be enough!

And don’t make fun of your neighbor, Verse 2 And don’t make fun of your neighbor, ‘cause he’s liable to chew you out! Just join in the jumpin’ madness, That’s what it’s all about. Now, once again, You got to get ready, my friend:

Lift your dinosaur knee, Wiggle your dinosaur toes, Refrain: Lift your dinosaur knee, Wiggle your dinosaur toes, Raise you dinosaur hand, And touch your dinosaur nose.

Now hold your dinosaur stance. Whad-da-ya know? Wag your dinosaur tail, Now hold your dinosaur stance. Whad-da-ya know? You’re doin’ the dinosaur dance! Refrain:

Lift your dinosaur knee, Wiggle your dinosaur toes, Refrain: Lift your dinosaur knee, Wiggle your dinosaur toes, Raise you dinosaur hand, And touch your dinosaur nose.

Now hold your dinosaur stance. Whad-da-ya know? Refrain: Wag your dinosaur tail, Now hold your dinosaur stance. Whad-da-ya know? You’re doin’ the dinosaur dance!

You’re doin’ the dinosaur-- daaaaance! Whad-da-ya know? You’re doin’ the dinosaur-- daaaaance!
