. Lilly Diabetes Company Confidential Copyright© 2008 Eli Lilly and Company Company Confidential Copyright© 2008 Eli Lilly and Company Biography I received a Ph.D. in Physiology from Southern Illinois University in 1994, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Lilly Research Laboratories in Neuroscience. In 1996, I joined Cadus Pharmaceutical Company and established methods identifying ligands to orphan G protein-coupled receptors. I re-joined Lilly Discovery Endocrine Research as a principal investigator in During my tenure I have established numerous drug discovery programs within obesity, diabetes, and psychiatry. I have expertise in neuropeptide receptor systems, and in convergent neural mechanisms regulating metabolic state, addiction and mood.
