Hi everyone! My name is Patrick Myrthil; I am 42 years old and reside in New Haven CT. Exited to start my online educational journey and looking forward to accomplish my goals towards my Master's degree. When I was a child I attended two different schools: the first one was a private school and studied there from K-6. I really had good times with some of my teachers and some others were rude. My parents could not afford the tuition fees at the Private school and had to register me to a public school where I graduated for my High school education and one year later, I started my Bachelor in education and within four years I completed my bachelor's.

 As a foreign language Teacher, a master's degree will help me to get better pay teaching jobs and will help me to be a better teacher. I am currently a part time French Teacher at the Engineering and Science University Magnet High School. Prior to working at ESUMS, I was a substitute Teacher for Five years, and I also worked for Newhallville Academy as an administrator, French and Spanish Teacher for a period of Four years.Engineering and Science University Magnet High School  In the classroom, my goals are to introduce students to the core concepts within the discipline and to help students learn how to use these ideas in the world in which they live. I further seek to provide students with the tools to critically evaluate problems.

 By completing My Master's in Education, it will help me to stay in connection with the latest trends and developments a as they relate to the field of education in the 21st century. My role is to come to the classroom as well informed as possible regarding the many areas of student in the field. With this knowledge, I can help the students develop skills to be successful in learning French and/or Spanish and to think critically about the topics being taught and discussed. My main focus is to complete my Master's and to learn more teaching skills as they relate to the 21st century. I look forward to working with you all until graduation.
