My favorite season Written by Liron Dadon

One sunny day four kindergarten children named: Danny, Aviv, Ronen and Yaron sat outside in the playground and played together. v

Suddenly rain began to fall and the three looked for a place to hide, except for Yaron, who stood there in the rain. v

v His friends called him: “Yaron, Yaron!” “Why don’t you join us and hide from the rain?”

v But Yaron refused to his friends’ proposal and stayed put. “I enjoy getting wet, I like the smell of the grass after the rain and I especially like drinking hot chocolate when its cold”. “Winter is my favorite season of the year!”

“What?” I do not like the winter; I dislike it when it rains and when it is too cold outside”, said Ronen. “I enjoy eating ice-cream and watermelon and I especially like going to the beach and playing in the sand together with my family.“ “Summer is my favorite season of the year!”

Danny looked at his friends surprisingly and said: “I don’t like it when it is too hot and I dislike it when it is too cold.” “I enjoy seeing trees chancing their color, leaves falling to the ground and I especially like waiting for the birds that come here from distant countries. “Autumn is my favorite season of the year!”

“The autumn is nice, but spring, said Aviv is the best time of the year. There is blossom everywhere, the weather is nice and the sky is clear and blue.” “Spring is my favorite season of the year!”

v Rona the kindergarten teacher heard the children arguing about their favorite season and said: “Dear children, no need to argue, as you know we have four seasons in the year and each season has her unique, therefore each child can have his own favorite season!.”
