Jigsaw cards for LARGE classes Use these cards for classes with 24 or more students. Distribute letter cards evenly. If you have 32 students, pass out 4 of each letter card (this will result in 8 total groups for each round, with 4 students in each group). If you have 28 students, pass out 3 of each letter card (this will result in 8 total groups for each round, with 3 students in each group), etc.

Jigsaw cards for small classes Use these cards for classes with 24 or less students. Distribute letter cards evenly. If you have 24 students, pass out 6 of each letter card (this will result in 4 total groups for each round, with 6 students in each group). If you have 20 students, pass out 5 of each letter card (this will result in 4 total groups for each round, with 5 students in each group). Note: if you pass out less than 6 letter cards, make sure to remove a duplicate image for that letter (i.e., because the A cards have duplicate glasses cards, remove one of the glasses cards so as to have expert groups distributed evenly).
