ANTI-IMPERIALISM ARGUMENTS

OBJECTIVES Identify the anti-imperialism arguments. Analyze how the critics of imperialism attempted to appeal to public opinion.

TOPIC QUESTIONS What were the main arguments used by each critic of colonial expansion? How did each attempt to appeal to public opinion?

ANTI-IMPERIALISM DOC. QUESTIONS 1.Author? (name, country, position, relevant background information) 2.Date and historical context? What type of document is it? 3.Audience? 4.List all of the arguments against imperialism. 5.How does the author attack the quest for empire (style, tone, etc.)
