2 Terminal Performance Objective Given a clearly identified public safety related training topic, the public safety training instructor will create and effectively document a practical exercise which supports the training objectives, in accordance with the Practical Exercise Guidelines.

3 Enabling Objectives Discuss the purpose of practical exercises. Demonstrate the uses of practical exercises. Identify the various types of practical exercises. Discuss the different methods of hands-on practical exercises. List the general considerations in conducting any practical exercise. Complete the required components (10 considerations) for practical exercises.

4 Practical Exercise Influence Performance Practice Opportunity Understanding

Purpose of Practical Exercises Students practice tasks called for in TPO Instructor has informal way to measure student achievements and validate teaching methods
