5 Day Summer STEM Day Camp for Local High School Students

Savannah Engineering Academy 5 day summer STEM day camp for 30+ rising high school juniors and seniors from public schools, private schools, and home schools 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Completely run by volunteers who are engineers working as professionals in the local area Supported by Professional Organizations, Educational Institutions, and Businesses Hosted at Armstrong State University and the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography

Savannah Engineering Academy Students must have grades of 80% or better in math/science/engineering/tech courses and provide a teacher recommendation to apply Only cost to students: $60 registration fee Students learn about different disciplines of engineering through hands-on activities, field trips, and site visits

Savannah Engineering Academy COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS Starting in 2016, the Savannah Engineering Academy will offer college scholarships to past participants who are accepted and enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program Scholarships will be offered through the Georgia Engineering Foundation Two $1,500 Scholarships will be offered in 2016
