Definition Thunderstorms are storms with lightning, heavy rain, gusty winds, and sometimes hail. Thunderstorms are provided by culiminbus.

Location Thunderstorms can be found all over the world. Except for deserts, Africa, and Australia.

Weather Explanation My severe weather does occur on earth. It occurs on earth because moisture and unstable mix and lift to cause a thunderstorm. This happens by a cumulonimbus cloud.

Safety To be safe when a thunderstorm occurs you should never ever rub your feet on the floor and touch a metal door knob or you get shocked.

Fun fact You can tell when a storm is coming by the next time you see lightning count seconds till you see lightning, divide by 5 and you know how many miles it is far away.

Fun fact The thunder can be 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun.

Meteorologist Meteorologist use rain gauge, anometer, and barometer to experiment.

History The worst occurrence in history in my severe weather was in Dallas, Texas.

Closing Thank you for listening to my severe weather. What we talked about was thunderstorms. I hope you learned a lot about thunderstorms. Thank you again!
