Power section In this section we used step down transformers of 230v primary to 9v secondary. The stepped down voltage is then rectified by 4 IN4007 diodes then it gives the i/p to LM7805. This gives a constant value of 5v DC.
RFID Tags Active Tags Passive Tags Battery Asesstive Passive Tags (BAP) This gathers information about the Tag ID and sends this information to the base station.
RFID READER An RFID reader is a device that is used to interrogate an RFID tagRFID tag The reader has an antenna that emits radio waves the tag responds by sending back its data

Circuit Discription To design a RFID Security System There are few steps That has been performed. Designing the power supply for the entire circuitry. Selection of microcontroller that suits our application. Selection of RFID cards and reader. Selection of MAX232. Selection of LCD

RS-232 It is used to connect a DTE to a DCE. Speed upto kbps over a distance upto 100mts. The serial communication between two devices is full duplex. It specifies the physical layer interface only. It uses unbalanced transmission hence susceptible to noise. For conversion of the RS-232 line drivers to TTL logic levels Max-232 is used.

ULN 2803 The ULN2803 Integrated Circuit (IC) is a "Eight-way Line Driver". It is a High Voltage/High Current Darlington Transistor Array The ULN2803 is an 18-pin IC configuration which include eight (8) transistors.
DC Motor Electromagnetic direct current (DC) motors Usually runs high speed and low torque (Gear down) DC motors convert electrical into mechanical energy. They consist of permanent magnets and loops of wire inside. When current is applied, the wire loops generate a magnetic field, which reacts against the outside field of the static magnets.
How RFID different from Bar Codes
Advantages of RFID RFID tags are very simple to install/inject inside the body of animals, thus helping to keep a track on them Barcode Scannes have repeatedly failed in providing security to gems and jeweleries in shops. But nowadays, RFID tags are placed inside jewelry items and an alarm is installed at the exit doors The RFID tags can store data up to 2 KB whereas, the bar code has the ability to read just digits.
Disadvantages of RFID It is difficult for an RFID reader to read the information in case of RFID tags installed in liquids and metal products The presence of mobile phone towers has been found to interfere with RFID radio waves The USA and Europe, for instance, have different range of frequencies that allow RFID tags to function
Applications RFID RFID Tags are being used in passports issued by many countries Animal Identification Schools & Universities Museums
Initiatives in India on RFID Wipro Technologies: Member of the Electronic Product Code (EPC) Working on pilot projects TCS: Tied up with Hyderabad University to produce RFID tagged mark sheets & degrees to deter use of fake degree Delhi Metro: The underground subway or metro system implements RFID ticket coins
Future Scope The world will be very different once readers and RFID Tags are everywhere. In an RFID-enhanced future, the benefits would accrue not just to businesses, but also to consumers. It has the potential of revolutionizing the way we travel, the way we open the locks of our homes, the way we purchase goods, the way we do business and much more.
Conclusion With the help of this project we can allow only the authorized persons using radio waves….. In the long run, the RFID technology, when perfected, would eventually be a big help to human.
