Setting The story happened in the past, In the summer

Main characters Paul : sixteen-year-old, Working at the museum Anna :Working at the museum Derek : working at the museum, Stole the necklace Mr. Balfour : Manager of the Museum

Summary One summer, sixteen-year-old Paul gets job for the summer at the local museum. On the first day he was going to work ,arrived to the museum diamond necklace that belongs to the Gilberston family the Gilberston's diamond necklace stolen and nobody know who stolen it. They called the police, and after a few minutes the police arrived to the museum

Chief inspector asked questions about the stolen necklace all the people who work at the museum . After this Paul go to finish painting the wall at the back of the pirate display and he found there the Gilberston's diamond necklace . Paul doesn't know if he need to tell that he found the diamond necklace. Paul think about stolen necklace, he tried to collect evidence that help him to know who the thief .

Paul talk with Derek and asked him some question Paul talk with Derek and asked him some question. he began to collect evidence that help him to know who his the thief . Mr. Balfour talk with Paul in his office and he blaming Paul in the crime and told to Paul to leave and find another job. Paul go to the museum after it was close, he hide and try to cought the thief . Paul coaght the thief that he Derek Halliday, the policeman come and he takes the necklace from Derek .

Paul told the story to Mr Paul told the story to Mr. Balfour and They found the security tapes they showed the thief. they were sorry about the accusations and they ask him to come back and work in the museum.
