Content The vision What is epigenetics? What is the evidence from epigenetics science? What are the public health implications of epigenetics scientific findings? What other non epigenetics evidence we already know? How are we doing now?

What are the implications to the wider society in Wales? What are the health economic implications of a new strategy shaped by epigenetics research? What are the take home messages?

PHW stated purpose is ‘To protect & improve health and wellbeing & reduce health inequalities’.

The new vision will provide us with a sustainable way ‘To protect & improve health & wellbeing & the best chance of reducing health inequalities’.

To achieve these objectives we need to develop a new vision influenced by epigenetics science
