Ephesians 4:11-16

Mr. & Mrs. Hudock Pastor Tom Mr & Mrs Adam Esterle

4:9-10 Christ descended to our lowly world…the same one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that he might fill the entire universe with himself.

“the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth.” (1:10) Hebrews 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Eph. 4:8 That is why the Scriptures say, “When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people.” The Usurper: a fake Eph. 2:1 “the prince of the power of the air” 2 Timothy 2:26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will Colossians 2:8 (NASB) See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Eph. 4:8 That is why the Scriptures say, “When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people.”

He climbed the high mountain, He captured the enemy and seized the booty, He handed it all out in gifts to the people. Ephesians 4:8

" Then Paul answered, “I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus!"
