Grading in BIOL Lab Exams 35% 2- Lecture Exams 65% Preparation: - Read the lab exercise and answer Pre-Lab questions in advance - prepare for the lab quiz or lab practical. During the lab period: - Perform the activities included in the lab manual. - Complete the Lab Activities portion of the Worksheet. After the lab period: Continue to review the lab material in preparation for the lab practical. In order to receive a passing grade in BIOL 204 you must achieve an average of 60% or better in both the lecture and the lab. Very Important !!!!!

1. Lab Activity Worksheets 2. Weekly Quizzes (100 points ) except for week 1, 5, 8, and 10 quiz will include questions from the previous week’s lab topic. 3. Lab assignments (50 points) Two written lab assignments are required during the semester. Guidelines for writing them are included in the lab manual (Lab 6, Lab 10). 4. Lab Practicals (200 points) Comprehensive lab exams will be administered during the 7 th and the 14 th week of the semester. Questions will be based on all of the lab objectives. Attendance A sign-up sheet will be available on the instructor table and once you complete the in- lab activity and worksheet – the instructor must sign off against your name (this will be considered as proof of attendance) Grading in Biol 204 LAB
