Interesting Facts Warm blooded mammal in the rodent family. Nocturnal up at night sleeps during the day. There are many types of hamsters, but only a couple types of hamsters can be pets. They don’t get a long with other animals. They love to crawl. They are very soft and fluffy. They really like to run in there exercise wheel. They really go to washroom a lot. Teddy bear hamsters are the second most popular hamsters in pet stores.

Babies Remember Not To Touch The Babies!! After this weeks “vital” period you can hold them. But only for a brief period as not to disturb or stress the mom or babies.

Food Hamster food can be bought in pet stores and department stores pet section. It usually consists of a mixture of corn, oats, wheat, alfalfa pellets, sunflower seeds. But hamsters need more then a seed diet. To keep your hamster healthy. He needs a daily portion of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Habitat Most hamsters live in Syria, Russia. Like hamsters that live in Syria are called Syrian hamsters. They live in the wild in Syria and Russia.

Enemies Hamsters enemies are cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, mice, snakes, bears, bees, wasps, worms, ants, spiders, tigers, monkeys, crocodiles, cougars, Every Other Animal In The World!!!!!
