General notes on slide production This is another ineffective slide, paired with an ineffective presentation delivery. It actually kind of takes away from the presentation because all I’m doing is reading from the screen. In general, it isn’t good to call attention to the slides themselves. The exception is when you are illustrating something with a detailed visual shown on the slide. A Powerpoint is meant to support your speaking, not vice versa. YOU are the presentation.
