Timeline Effective January 1, 2014 Accepted by Minnesota last week MN age waiver being revised, need a “Likely to Pass” GED Ready score (145+) GEDTS sending retroactive passers to MDE on March 2, 2016 MDE can start processing and sending retroactive GED diplomas on March 3, 2016

Tip: Make sure retroactive GED passers update their and mailing address in their MyGED account! Retroactive GED test passers that need verification prior to March 3 need to log into their MyGED account and request verification directly from GEDTS!

Starting March 1, 2016, the extended response portion of the Social Studies GED Test will be eliminated. Social Studies Test time will be reduced by 15 minutes (but extended response was timed for minutes) Until March 1, extended response will be a scored part of the Social Studies GED Test.
