Artistic Typography: Shape Poems Creative Writing 2/11/2014

Typography Definition: the arrangement, font, size, and color of words on a page.

Artistic arrangement of words to form an image can provide context and meaning

Sizing of words can emphasize certain ones over others.

Typography is often used to sell products. It’s a clever way for advertisers to create associations between their product and concepts people value.

Can also be used in reverse, to attack a concept. Doesn’t need to be loose, random words.
