The City of Stockton and PG&E are joining forces to deliver an energy efficiency program Designed to enhance Stockton’s economic development efforts by providing energy-saving services to residents and businesses that have been especially hard to reach through traditional programs Will offer: –Free installation of energy efficient lighting for residents –Free energy surveys and advice on ways to save energy –Free energy workshops and seminars –$ for City building energy efficient upgrades –$ for Small Business energy efficiency retrofits Program Overview

Residents and businesses in Stockton’s: Midtown-Magnolia District (MMAT), Airport Corridor (ACT), and Central Stockton-West End Redevelopment (DAT) Who can participate?

Available until December 31, 2005 to qualifying participants Will combine PG&E’s conservation efforts with Stockton’s Action Team’s communication channels to help customers find ways to save energy and money Total budget funded through Public Goods Charge: $2.2 Million Hope to save: –1.2 MW –5.5 Million kWh –193,480 Therms At a glance:

RESIDENTIAL Western Insulation will canvass designated neighborhoods and identify single- and multi-family homes that qualify for installation of free ENERGY STAR measures such as: –Interior hardwired lighting fixtures –Compact fluorescent lamps –Programmable thermostats Residents with single-family homes may also receive a free, energy survey Special emphasis will be placed on working with moderate-income customers and senior citizens Program Components

Stockton’s Good Cents Rebate Program will offer cash rebates to businesses that replace old lighting equipment with new, energy efficient technologies, and to those who install occupancy sensors, programmable thermostats and reflective window film. Energy efficiency experts will perform free energy audits to help business customers identify energy-saving opportunities. Reservations are required for rebates over $2,500. EDUCATION & TRAINING PG&E will provide energy clinics and classes designed specifically for Stockton’s residents and businesses. Participants will receive recommendations on how to reduce their energy bills and operate more energy efficiently. Participants may register for classes and gain more information through PG&E’s Energy Training Center at Program Components

MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS Technical consultants will survey major energy-consuming systems within city facilities in order to identify potential energy-saving opportunities. Financial incentives will help support the investment in energy-efficiency upgrades at select municipal facilities. Program Components
