American landmarks True or false game by harry,Ellis, Leo, Mia, Kelly.

Alabama has amazing caves and rich cotton fields and other important crops. And at the space camp in Huntsville you can find out what its like to be an astronaut. There you can learn about space missions and experience what its like to tumble weightless. Alabama

This state is famous for its steel towns. In the 1800, towns like Pittsburgh produced much of American iron steel. Pennsylvania also had lots of farming. And it makes candy including the famous Hershey's kisses and other chocolate goodies. Pennsylvania

New York is the home of the empire state building. Also it is very popular with tourists from around the world. They eat food like corndogs, the twin towers once stood here but got took out by a plane which was took over terrorists. N.YC

Florida Florida is famous for the space launch in 1969 Located at cape canavrel.55% of Orlando Florida is theme park. Most of the orange juice in the world comes from the state of Florida. In Florida there is Miami,Jacksonville,Tallahassee, Orlando, Tampa, cape Canaveral.

Connecticut We have been writing to people in America from another school. Connecticut is 20 miles away from new York. The school who we are talking to have 51 people in one class, that’s almost double our class.

New jersey New jersey is next to new York. If you cross the Hudson river you will be in new jersey. The capital is called Trenton. The nick name of new jersey is the garden state.

Texas It was founded by the Spanish. But taken by the Americans for there own land. People in Texas eat a lot of steak. Most of Texas is desert.

Mississippi In the state of Mississippi you can find the Mississippi river. The capital is called Jackson, Mississippi is west from Alabama. The state and the country largest river are both called Mississippi. The name comes from two native Americans. Mississippi means farther of the river.

Kansas Kansas is a very small city with big houses. Topeka is a highway away from Kansas. It is also in the middle of the USA. In the movie the wizard of Oz it was the Kansas storm that blew here to the land of Oz. The movie is based on the Kansas storm.

Alaska is the coldest state in America, even though its attached to Canada it is still apart of America. The population is over 736,000.the capital is called Juneau. Alaska

California is home to Hollywood, that's were movies and TV programs are made. California has over 38 million people living there. The capital is called Sacramento. California
