Type: They are mammals Diet: Herbivore Predators: Snow leopards and Martens

Their habitats are being chopped down and they have to find a new habitat to live in The red pandas travel alone so they don’t breed very well. Only rarely they travel with families or pairs Predators will kill them

Red pandas eat bamboo but if the weather is warm they would eat insects and fruit it is decided with the weather but they mostly like the bamboo.

The Red Panda roams the Eastern Himalayas Red pandas spend most of there life in trees and they have very good claws to climb from branch to branch Did you know that the Name “panda” means Bamboo eater, in Chinese

Red pandas mostly eat bamboo along with berries and other fruit, acorns and flowers. They also eat eggs, insects, small birds and rodents. The red panda only eats the youngest, most tender shoots and leaves.

Those sharp claws are not just used for climbing and shredding bamboo, red pandas will use their front claws to defend themselves. To appear larger, they will stand on their back legs, hissing.

The Red Pandas are not the only animal or plants that are coming extinct there many more animals or plants like: the polar bears, Jaguars, Marine Dolphins, Marine Turtles, River Dolphins, whales, Adèlie Penguins and African Lions etc. There are plants too, for example like: Western prairie fringed orchid, Rafflesid flower, Georgia Aster, Wiggin's Acalypha, Texas Wild Rice, Howell’s spectacular Thelypody and Enrubio etc. Do you now any more plants or animals that are soon coming extinct
