8 What do you Accession? o Any animal that you have physically OR have legal ownership of o Some exceptions – native wildlife, live rock, feeder animals o Develop a policy and stick with it
9 When do you Accession? o The Accession/Visit date should be the date you either first obtained the physical animal OR the date you first got legal title to it. o You have taken responsibility for it. o Possible exception is animals Collected From Wild.
10 What if there are 50 of them? o Batch Accession Checkbox o Edit differences later Sex Birth Date o Most information should be the same o Cannot Batch Accession From ISIS member o Take a Copy From This Animal
11 How about Dispositions and Deaths? o Eventually everything you have accessioned will need to be Dispositioned either by a transaction, missing or release, or a death. o Date should be when the event actually happened.
