Credentialing Ga. Ag Ed will offer a industry endorsed credential certificate based on meeting the minimum cut-score on FFA CDEs. DOE is only recognizing the End of Pathway Assessments for technical skill attainment, therefore, this credential does not meet that requirement.

Industry Certification Industry Certification Manual is on the gaaged.org website. Our goal is to have at least 10 programs certified in the Central Region.  Program Reviews All conducted in conjunction with Area Teachers Meetings in April Please keep an organized notebook to facilitate this process

Curriculum Update Ag Ed Cluster now consists of 34 Pathways Basic Ag Science Curriculum New standards are now approved and posted Can be taught in 8 th grade for high school credit Elementary Level Ag Awareness Lessons Posted on website Can be used to help earn CCRPI credits All other Ag Courses being revised and new standards to be approved later this year

FFA Membership – Rosters open for use on September 1 – Rosters are accessed through the AgCareer Network – AgCN accounts (usernames and logins) available from Region Directors if you don’t have them already – New teacher – your account has been created. – Teacher who moved – your account has been transferred – Dues for are $11 ($4 state & $7 national) – Affiliation option is available (contact the state FFA office by September 1, to Affiliate) – Rosters and dues/Affiliation fees are due by October 15 – If you want FFA membership cards for your students, contact the state FFA Office

 100% membership recognition  Designed to recognize teachers & programs who have 100% of the students in their AgEd classes on the FFA roster.  Individual teacher Enrollment Data forms will be used to determine 100% membership. In multi- teacher programs, for the program to be considered 100%, each teacher must have 100% of the students in their classes on the FFA roster.
