Those who break laws, cause harm to others, or disrupt order must be found, and brought to justice Meaning the authority, NOT punishment by police themselves

There are convenience laws like speeding, littering, jay-walking, etc. which don’t cause direct harm to others, but are still necessary for order and discipline And sometimes to protect us from ourselves

Ambulances, Jails, Guards, DARE, assisting Firemen, etc. are all services for the “public good” Police want to stay in good public opinion
