What is a rain forest? A rain forest is a home for many different animals.The rain forest got its name because it is a home for many animals. Also the rain forest is a place where animals sleep and eat.

Location of Rain Forests Some rain forests are in different locations like Brazil, South and North America, Australia, Africa, and Asia.

Monkeys

Emergent Layer There are a lot of animals in the emergent layer like pygmy glider, monkeys, butterflies, harpy eagle, and parrots.

Sloths

Canopy Layer In the rainforest there are a lot of animals in the canopy layer like spider monkeys, toucans, jaguars, boa constrictors,ocelots, porcupines, parrots, and three toed sloths.

Understory Layer In the under story there are a lot of different animals like grasshopper, lizards, crickets, panthers, porcupines, katydids, geckos, spiders, macaws, red eye tree frog, snakes, parrot, jaguars, and capuchin monkeys.

Forest floor There are more than a 100 animals and plants in the forest floor The forest floor got its name because its under the emergent, canopy, and under story layer.The forest floor is very important a lot of animals.

Deforestation Deforestation is not good to the rainforests. Many people have cut down trees. Also people burn down trees and plants. When fires start there are a lot of animals that die.

People of the Rain Forest People of the rainforest hunt down some animals. People of the rain forest help animals, feed them or they help them. They sometimes heal them when they need to.

CONCLUSION PEOPLE SHOULD SAVE THE RAINFOREST BECAUSE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ANIMALS BECAUSE THE RAINFOREST IS their HOME. SAVE THE RAIN FOREST!
