Worksheet 1 The National Curriculum for PE sets out the necessary areas for development and assessment. Aims The national curriculum for physical education aims to ensure that all pupils:  develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities  are physically active for sustained periods of time  engage in competitive sports and activities  lead healthy, active lives.

Worksheet 2 and 3 Task 1 In your groups, discuss (in preparation to feedback) situations when you have had to discuss issues with your mentor in school. These situations may have been about children, or about competitive sport fixtures, or even about your coaching.
