1. Log in using the small slip of paper I gave you or login using an existing account
2. Create Site a. Click “Add Site” b. Create a title – e.g. “Mr. Weaver’s Web Page”
3. Choose Theme
4. Add Paragraph a) Click on “Elements” b) Click on “Paragraph…” and drag on to page below it will look like this c) Type in a Title and Content
5. Add a Page a) Click on “Pages” tab b) Click on “Add Page” title page and choose layout
6. Change Header Image a) Hover over header image and click on “Edit Image” b) Click on “Add Image” then select a saved image…
7. Upload and Link a File a) Click on the “Elements” tab and then click on the “Multimedia Folder. b) Click on “Click Here…” then Click on “Upload New File”
8. Embed a Google Calendar a) Navigate to your Google Calendar in a web browser b) Click on the down childe next to the calendar name and choose “Calendar Settings”
8. Embed a Google Calendar (Continued) c) Highlight and copy the text in this box… d) Click on the “Element” tab in Weebly and then click and drag the “Custom HTML” icon down onto the page
8. Embed a Google Calendar (Continued) e) Click on “Embed a Google Calendar” f) Paste the HTML code you copied from your Google Calendar into the box you dragged onto your Weebly page.
9. Create a Button and link to a file a) From the “Elements” tab click on and drag the “Button” icon down onto the page b) Click on new Button to edit Text c) Click on “Link” then navigate to your file and select, then save.
10. Publish (save) Your Web Site a) Click on “Publish button in top right of Weebly Editor. b) Click on “X” in right top of box. DO NOT click continue. Publish Frequently to save your work.
11. Publish (save) a) Click on “Publish button in top right of Weebly Editor. b) Click on the blue – this is the temporary address of your site.
