Question and Answer

Independent states come together for a common goal and follow a weak central government.

Under this system of government, most powers are concentrated in the hands of a central government.

Power is divided between one central authority and several regional authorities. States or provinces are given considerable self-rule, usually through their own legislatures

The European Union is an example of this system.
