This trip has been organised by Sport Experiences (part of the Newmarket group) who have been established since Sport Experiences is a member of ABTA and holds an ATOL license. Therefore all monies paid are fully financially protected. What should have already happened? -Permission slip handed to finance with payment. -Full payment of trip to Finance. -Medical Form completed and handed into Miss Copley. -Dietary requirements completed on medical form. - Please ensure that the phone number is one where I can get hold of someone if required. If you are yet to complete a form OR need to make changes to your child’s medical form then this can be done at the end of the session. Wimbledon Trip 2014

Thursday 3 rd July 5am meet. The coach will pick up students from the bus park at OGA. Please ensure that you are here for 5am as the bus is due to collect us at 5.15am and we must have enough time to register. If you are not here for 5.15am when the bus departs we will be leaving and you will have to ring myself and then organise alternative transport arrangements. Please provide your child with a packed lunch and snacks for the journey. On the way down you will be given your ticket – you must keep hold of this as you will need it for entry to the grounds amArrive at Wimbledon You must have everything with you that you need for the day. There will be no time to get anything out of the bags in the luggage hold. Time to walk around the grounds and visit the shop. This will be done as one group and students will not be permitted to walk off anywhere without a member of staff. Watch play on court number 1 - finish time is dependent on the success or otherwise of the games scheduled. We will have dinner at Wimbledon so students need to have some money with them to allow them to purchase dinner. At the end of play we will head back to our coach and then to our hotel which is the Holiday Inn Express Hemel Hempstead. Friday 4 th July 8am Breakfast (Continental breakfast provided as part of the trip). 9amCheck out of the hotel. 10am Head to Covent Garden where students will be able to experience the sights and sounds of London. We will be transported here by our coach. Students will be about to walk around in groups of 4 or 5 (no less) and one member of the group is to have their mobile phone with them if possible. Staff will be based centrally and have a mobile phone with them. We will also have lunch during this time so students will require some money to purchase lunch Collected by the coach to make our return to school. 4.30pm / 5pm Return to Outwood Grange Academy. Your son / daughter will be given the opportunity to ring or text home half an hour before arrival. An adult must collect your son / daughter on our return and must sign out with Miss Copley. Things to Remember -Money for souvenirs and for dinner on the Thursday & lunch on the Friday. -Gadgets incl. mobile phones / cameras (entirely at own risk). Insurance is only provided for theft of personal belongings. -Appropriate foot wear – we will be doing a lot of walking. -Clothing – you will not need a large amount of clothes (overnight wear, toiletries and clothing for Friday) -Waterproof jacket. -Sun cream. -Packed lunch / snacks for journey (don’t bring anything messy!) -Bag for day time (lunch/purse etc.) Note: -No fizzy drinks on coach. -Money and valuables will stay with students not staff. Wimbledon Etiquette: -You are not allowed to try and buy or sell tickets. -Do not enter or leave the stands during play. You can only move at the change of ends but not during a tie break. -Do not make a noise during play. -Do not applaud a double fault. -Do not use flash photography. -No smoking. -No alcohol. -No annoying, dangerous, foul language or obscene gestures. -Mobile phone must be switched off during play in and around the courts. -Only one bag per person and it must not be bigger than 18” X 12” X 12”. No picnic hampers, cool boxes or brief cases. -Your bag will be searched upon entry. -No items that may be interpreted as a weapon e.g. knives or corkscrews. -Large flags, banners, rattles, klaxons or oversized hats. -Any clothing which bears political or commercial identification. Wimbledon Trip 2014 Failure to comply with Wimbledon etiquette may result in you being removed from the grounds and not being allowed to re-enter. Please note you can bring a water bottle in with you that can be refilled at the water fountains around Wimbledon.

OGA expectations: -To follow the etiquette as explained previously. -To behave as would be expected at the academy. -To follow instructions of OGA, Wimbledon, hotel and travel company staff. -No alcohol. -No smoking. -You must be in your own room by the specified time. -No opposite sex in your rooms. -Not to be using your mobile phone 24/7!
