Phoenix Convention Center Phoenix, Arizona The Next Network: Lighting, Controls and the Internet of Things Track 3: Energy Technologies August 12, 2015

Energy Exchange : Federal Sustainability for the Next Decade Learning Outcomes By attending this session, attendees will: Review new and emerging trends in solid-state LED lighting and lighting controls. Understand that LED lighting is inherently digital, and that this will be a key enabler for the “Internet of Things (IoT)” in commercial office space. Explore how an IoT strategy will enable lighting to be powered, connected and controlled by digital networks. Gain insight into the “smart” capabilities networked lighting will bring to dynamically manage loads, reduce costs and carbon emissions, and create new use cases for lighting – including emerging “Lighting as a Service” offerings that adapt the performance contract model used to finance more traditional building retrofits to lighting. 2

Energy Exchange : Federal Sustainability for the Next Decade FEMP is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education & Training and has awarded 0.2 CEUs (60 Min = 0.1 CEUs, 90 Min = 0.2 CEUs) for this session. To earn CEUs and a certificate of completion, participants must: – attend the session – complete a short assessment (3-5 questions) and brief evaluation by logging on to: Note: participants must register once with the National Institute of Building Sciences’ Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG.org) to complete the requirements and obtain their certificate. 3 Obtaining CEUs and Certificates
