Use of Camcorders and Recording Labs

 The School of Social Work provides equipment and space for students to videotape.  Digital camcorders are set up in rooms 107 and 109.

Sign-Up  You must sign up on the sheet (located in the hallway outside of the recording labs).  Signing up reserves the room and the video camera.  No more than 2 groups can reserve a room at the same time.  DO NOT deviate from the schedule. If you need to change your time, check with Krista.

Tips for Recording  Do a short practice.  DO NOT rewind the tape either before or after recording.  Look at the shot through the camera. Make sure that everyone can be seen.  Speak up.

Dubbing and DVDs  Krista will dub your interviews on to a DVD.  You can provide your own or purchase one from the school for $1.00.  Dubbing is on a first come, first serve basis. Sign up when done recording.  You must give 48 hours notice.
