N ON R ENEWABLE R ESOURCES By Stephanie Zerkel Silver Black Gold

Silver is used for a lot of things, from jewelry to coins or even dentist. Dentist use it in you mouth (People who have braces). Silver is probably most used in jewelry. Silver is also used in coins there is the silver dollar, and there is silver bars that some people buy so they can sell them later in life.

Silver does not effect people. But mining for silver is very dangerous just like it is for coal and gold. The miners are risking their lives for the digging. What is the effect of the use of silver on organisms?

Crude oil

Its used for oil for some cars, boats, and air planes. Black gold also known as crude oil is used for much more things all over the world. When a oil spill happens the oil pollutes the water and the dirt around the oil spill. What are they used for??? What is the effect of the use of black gold on the earth???

W HAT IS THE EFFECT OF THE USE OF THESE RESOURCES ON ORGANISMS ? Sometimes in the ocean a boat shipping black gold causes a oil spill. That’s bad it affects the wild life in the water and an land. The birds can get stuck in the oil and the fish can die from the water. Crude oil is pumped out of the ground. We use it all around the world. The oil is shipped to different industries around the world and sold. How is black gold turned into useful energy?
