Introduction to Viewer Hi there! As you may have already noticed, my name is Levi, and I’m a sixth grader at United Local Schools. Some of my hobbies include drawing, gaming, and riding. I am twelve but by seventh grade I’ll be thirteen years old.

Fall Is… Fall is the time of the year when all the colorful leaves fall to the ground and it becomes cold, but not as cold as winter. It is the time that Halloween and Thanksgiving go on. It’s the time that families have get togethers and eat lots of food (such as turkey). Fall is also the beginning of indoor sports (such as indoor soccer and basketball). We also need to start wearing warmer clothing as fall develops, because it starts to get colder. Although fall is the end of summer, and it begins to become colder than summer, it’s one of my favorite seasons.

Journal Entry 2 I chose these 2 entries because I believed they were some of my better and long pieces of writing.

Me As a Reader I believe I have grown a bit as a reader. I believe this because at the start of the year, I was reading medium sized books, but now I read big books! I also changed my reading level. I went from a Y to a Z. Yay!

Me As a Writer Over this entire year, I’ve grown a lot as a writer. I went from writing 2 or 3 sentences, to writing 2 to 3 paragraphs. I do enjoy writing though. I mainly like writing fictional stories.

Teacher Read-Alouds On my Honor by Marion Dane Bauer was a very boring book. The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo was a pretty interesting book. The Cay by Theodore Taylor had some good and a couple sad parts. Island of The Blue Dolphins by Scott O’delle was an amazing book. Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen is still being read, but it’s a pretty good book so far. The next book she’ll read is Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.

Talking about progress reports The progress reports helped me see what I am and what I am not good at. My weakness seemed to be how I use my time. My goal for next year is to use my time the best way I can.

My Stock Market

My Reflection on Stock Market I found the stock market a little bit time consuming. I invested in six stocks. McDonalds, Netflix, Microsoft, Sony, Coke, and Under Armor. The stock that brought me down the most was Coke. Overall I lost $67.95 just on Coke. With all my losses and gains combined, I lost $ One thing I would never do is invest in Coke or Under Armor. They were my major losses. The stocks I actually earned money in were McDonalds and Microsoft. I earned $29.85.

Year In Review Overall, sixth grade has had its ups and downs. But it was an awesome year! Thank you Mrs. Tedeschi, Mrs. Grimm, and all my classmates for the best year ever! I really enjoyed this year because of the time when we got to make ice cream. I also like when we got to go on the band field trip to the Butler Art Museum. Another thing I enjoyed was the baseball game. Cody kept trying to catch a ball, but never did. It was very funny, in my opinion.
