English Language Arts Adoption

Last Adoption K-6 Treasures in Literature & Language Arts in 2007 – Standards and State testing have changed since then

Curricular Alignment Governing board, Superintendent, and Principals all sign a curricular agreement from ADE ensuring the teaching of Arizona’s state standards. Materials are aligned to AZCCRS. Save teachers’ time and ensures the use of research-based materials. Promote teacher collaboration Writing component integrated in program Same publisher K-8

Other Considerations When combined with effective instruction, a newly adopted program will help enhance our students’ ability to read and analyze grade level text and cite evidence in their writing Will also continue to help our students compete on the national level. Text aligned to AZCCRS expectations

Committee Recommendation 33 pilot teachers met on Thursday, March 10 to review data. Data included teacher, parent, and student surveys. Qualitative descriptions

Committee Recommendation Committee recommendation is… McGraw-Hill Wonders & Study Sync Parent, Student, and Teacher survey results all indicated McGraw-Hill as the recommendation.
