Curricular Alignment Governing board, Superintendent, and Principals all sign a curricular agreement from ADE ensuring the teaching of Arizona’s state standards. Materials are aligned to AZCCRS. Process February – Scope of Services sent to vendors March – committee review to select semifinalists (narrowed 12 to 3) May – presentations by semifinalist vendors to committee (narrowed 3 to 2) September – Houghton-Mifflin provided PD for October-December pilot December – Committee meeting to evaluate Houghton-Mifflin program January – McGraw-Hill provided PD for January-March pilot March – Committee meeting to evaluate McGraw-Hill program & select vendor for recommendation to the Board September – 33 pilot teachers, grades 1, 3, 5, 7 received materials (Houghton-Mifflin) December – 33 pilot teachers, grades 1, 3, 5, 7 received materials (McGraw-Hill) October – March – public display
