SAT Vocabulary #1-10 Copy the word along with the part of speech, definition, and example sentence. 1. Immutable (adj.) never changing Ex.: Princess Charlotte is an immutable hedonist, forever partying with the rich and famous. Construct your own sentence in which you employ this new word.

IMMUTABLE  Although I tried to get the bank president to change his mind about giving me the loan, I finally realized his decision was immutable.

IMMUTABLE  Jake’s feelings about his teenage daughter driving his car without a license were immutable.

Copy the word along with the part of speech, definition, and example sentence.  2. Impartial (adj.) fair, showing no favoritism  The decision was an impartial one, and we couldn’t argue with it. Be sure to include context clues in your original sentence.

Impartial  Members of a jury must always be impartial when determining if a dependent is guilty or innocent.

Implausible (adj) unlikely; not having the appearance of truth or reason  Only the most gullible teacher in the school would accept Polly’s implausible excuse for not having her homework.
