INDICES OF MULTIPLE DEPRIVATION Trafford sits in the middle quintile for overall deprivation. This hides significant inequalities, where there are areas in the 5% most deprived nationally (Partington) within 5 miles of areas in the 5% least deprived (Hale)

Childhood obesity is measured in Reception (age 5, left) and Year 6 (age 10, right). Trafford averages are around 7% for Reception, and 16% for Year 6 CHILDHOOD OBESITY

NEET Trafford has relatively few NEET, compared to National and Regional averages, at around 4/5% (around 400 young people). There are, however, pockets where levels are much higher.

ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR Sale and Altrincham town centres see the highest numbers of reported ASB incidents (around 45 per quarter)
