Government The head of government is President Seretse Khama Ian Khama. Botswana is a parliamentary government. Parliamentary government is a government in which leaders elect things on societies behalf. Basically a democracy. leaders are elected.
Economy Has the highest averaging growth in the world. It has about a 9% growth per year since In 2007 the unemployment rate in Botswana was 7.5%
Economy major imports are machinery, electrical goods, transport equipment, textiles, fuel and petroleum products, wood and paper products, metal and metal products exports:diamonds, copper, nickel, soda ash, meat, textiles.

Climate Botswana's climate is semi-arid. although it is hot and dry for most of the year. there is a rainy season. rainfall is very unpredictable in Botswana. it could be down pouring in one area and kilometers away it could be sunny. Mostly all of Botswana is covered in savanna either shrub savanna or trees savanna
Country flag The Botswana flag consists of a light blue background and a black horizontal stripe through it with white outlining on the stripe. The light blue represents water, the black and white stripes symbolize the racial harmony of the people.
Currency The currency of Botswana is pula it comes in units of 5,10,50 and 100. The coins are called thebe and come in units of 1,5,10,25,50 and p1 and p2 which is equivalent to 1 and 2 pula. one american dollar is equivalent to pula.
