What's a Pronoun? pronoun: a word that takes the place of a noun Example: pron. John likes bunnies, and he also enjoys kickboxing.

What's an Antecedent? antecedent: the noun a pronoun takes the place of Example: ant. pron. John likes bunnies, and he also enjoys ------- kickboxing.

Practice Finding Pronouns and Antecedents Underline the pronoun (p) once and the antecedent (a) twice. Then draw an arrow from the p to the a with the arrow pointing at the a.
