The Appositive clause (1) What is it? A sentence is used as a abstractive noun’s appositive structure. (2) The function of the Appositive clause Tt is used to explain and account for the abstractive nouns. In this grammar, we have to pay attention to two points. (1) The abstractive nouns : such as fact,ideas,
news,promise ect. (2) The conjuction “That” and adverbial conjuction – how,when,where are used to correct the Appositive clause. More practice makes perfect. Look at the following examples. (1) I have no idea when he will be back. (2) We heard the news that our team had won.
