Students normally have have 28 MCs of Unrestricted Electives (UE). Because of language, GL students thus have 12 MCs.

Participate in the Module Preference Exercise to have your major modules pre- allocated to you where possible especially the language module. Students intending to go on exchange should be aware of the MC Exchange Ratio of the Partner University. MC Exchange RatioMC Exchange Ratio Students can exercise the S/U option on their language. Do note that those pursuing a minor which requires language would have to be careful about exercising the S/U option. Know which subjects (PS, HY, GE, NM or etc.) are more prominent in your Theme or Region and use the Faculty Exposure Requirement to fulfill the exposure modules. In this way you don’t have to worry about fulfilling the exposure requirement for higher level modules. GL Majors are encouraged to read in-depth into their approved Theme during Honours.
