A good site to begin our review: com/worst-nonprofit-web- sites-of html#axzz0cyLBfu4thttp:// com/worst-nonprofit-web- sites-of html#axzz0cyLBfu4t Access the site and in pairs read the reviews and look at the sites. Focus upon these 3 reviews. Discuss what you see and read with your partner.
Make a list of all the ‘bad points’ you find. Prepare to feedback to the rest of the group.
Another good site to continue our review: Access the site and again in pairs have a look at some of the reviews. No pointers this time, follow your own route through.
Lets think about design features Stay with the same sites and with your partner list as many design features that you can. Prepare to feedback to the rest of the group. Decide which design features you will include in your web pages.
Did you find any of these? Menu Bar for major links. Sub menu bar for other links. Cascading or ‘pop out’ side menu bar. Use of ‘white space’. Images in background. Images in foreground.
