Meet the DAC Team The Algoma DAC is not just one person – it’s a team! ▫Benefits: timely responses, complimentary skill-sets, can collaborate on large tasks, broad range of knowledge, etc. Paul Beach Kristen Hoffman Miranda Moffatt Danika Montgomery Steve Zuppa This team also acts as the DAC for Sault Ste. Marie

Role of the DAC The role of the DAC is to support evaluation and planning efforts for all agencies that serve young children and their families. We do this by developing databases for capturing and managing program- and/or agency-level data; compiling and preparing reports; engaging in data analysis to identify trends, patterns and service gaps; and advising and supporting the development of effective tracking mechanisms and evaluation tools to measure the impact of agency activities and programs.

Data Collection Best Start Hub visits Transition to a digital sign-in membership “I enjoyed how quick it was to sign-in. The children are usually playing with activities before I come in. Digital sign-in was a lot faster.” Trial user at Holy Cross BSH (SSM)

Data Collection Benefits: ▫Can accurately track unique visits ▫Can see who is going to which locations ▫Faster sign-in for drop-in and events ▫Count event attendance and drop-in attendance simultaneously ▫Can discreetly track attendance related to CAS ▫Much less of BSH staff time spent inputting their stats into the online database.
