Learning Objectives Add tags to building elements using the Tag tool. Add room tags to the interior spaces using the Room Tag tool. Add symbols to project view using the Symbol tool. Create dimensions using various dimensioning tools. Modify dimensions based on given parameters. Add spot elevation to a building model using the Spot Elevation tool.
ADDING TAGS Useful annotation that assists in identifying the tagged building element Play an important role in arranging various elements in schedules Figure 1 Different usages of tags in a typical interior layout

Tutorial 1 In this tutorial, you will first add rooms to the enclosed spaces of the Apartment 1 project created in Tutorial 1 of Chapter 8, and then name the rooms by using the Room Tag tool. You will also tag the furniture and dimension the ground floor plan view, based on the sketch plan shown in Figure 38. Figure 38 Sketch plan for adding room tags, furniture tags, and dimensions to the Apartment 1 project
The following steps are required to complete this tutorial: 1.Open the specified project file and the first floor plan view. 2.Use the Room and Room Tag tools and add rooms and room tags, refer to Figures 39 through 43. Figure 39 Preview of the room tag and the highlighted room boundary Figure 40 The room tag created
