Student use of DU-VAGA images accessible for individual study Login page with an acceptable use statement - users must agree Welcome page –Thumbnail images (spotlight, newest, random) –A variety of functionalities available to students –Quick search by artist or title Inside a course gallery –Discussion boards for image and/or gallery –Larger image with meta-data (VRA standards) (Zoom, move image, view meta data (m), next image) –Self-exam –Printable view

Instructor use of DU-VAGA create galleries for classroom use Instructors can –Create/manage course galleries –View student galleries (assignments) –Request a slide –Use the two-image projection capability in the classroom To create a gallery –Select Gallery Management, select course, create new gallery –Search for image, select image, add to gallery Classroom control panel

Administration of DU-VAGA Digital images –Scan/store high resolution (25MB, tiff) –Input meta data (VRA standards) –Create three different sizes for DU-VAGA (thumbnail 5k, medium 60-80k, large 0.6-1MB) Manage users and courses Copyright/intellectual property issues
