 Classroom Problem Solvers By Aidan, Ashlyn, and Madison

The Problem  You are reading to self while Mrs. Delgado works with a small group. The class should be working quietly on their reading or independent work, but two of your friends are whispering and throwing little pieces of paper at you to get your attention. What should you do?

Possible Solutions  Ask the girls to stop. The girls might stop. The girls might keep doing it. The girls might throw more things at you.  Move. You can read quietly. You have to leave your spot. That’s not fair! The girls might follow you.

Possible Effects of the Solutions  Ask the girls to stop.  The girls might stop.  The girls might keep doing it.  The girls might throw more things at you.  Move.  You can read quietly.  You have to leave your spot. That’s not fair!  The girls might follow you.

Our Plan  You should ask the girls nicely to leave you alone because you are reading. If they do not leave you alone, you can try moving. If they follow you and don’t leave you alone, then it is okay to go let Mrs. Delgado know what is going on.
